We are super pleased to announce the Notebook Cover we created together with Brussels based Gilles Bolland. Gilles has finished his studies of maroquinerie at the famous school 'Arts et Métiers' in Brussels and we are amazed by his meticulous eye for detail and aesthetics.
Gilles likes to use premium leather which is not treated by toxic mineral products. The edges are smoothed out by hand without any paint. Because the leather is all natural it will change in appearance over time and get a nice patina, we believe this adds extra charm.
This notebook cover will fit an A5 notebook but because of the many slits in the leather it is possible to add either just one A5 notebook, or two thin ones which open on the side, or add an A6 sized one. And then there is room for business cards or other small papers.
Softcover A5 Notebooks such as the ones from Tsubame, MD Paper, Perpanep or Life will all fit.
