For years we have been looking for a pretty, flat pencil case, without big logos and made from premium quality leather. Well, then Gilles Bolland came along. Gilles has finished his studies of maroquinerie at the famous school 'Arts et Métiers' in Brussels and we are amazed by his meticulous eye for detail and aesthetics.
Gilles likes to use premium leather which is not treated by toxic mineral products. The edges are smoothed out by hand without any paint. Because the leather is all natural it will change in appearance over time and get a nice patina, we believe this adds extra charm.
Together we discussed all the details of this entirely made by hand pen case. It is designed to store a few pens or pencils only, maybe a flat ruler....
