A set of 1 A6-size, one-page-per-day English language Hobonichi Techo planner and 1 cover.
Select shop Arts & Science owner Sonya Park directed the creation of the book, which has been refined and simplified to make it easy to use in all countries and languages. The pages are printed in charcoal gray and red.
In addition to the Arts & Science logo, the Japanese characters for “techo” (which means “planner”) are stamped in gold on the chic, textured cover. The Hobonichi logo and the year appear on the spine for easy reference when storing the planner in a bookshelf.
The A6 size is light and portable, making it easy to carry around and pull out anytime. The Planner book is the same size as the Original book, so the books can use the same covers.
About the cover:
minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs. Designer Akira Minagawa created the butterfly stamps featured on the memoria textile by hand. The design was stamped onto fabric, which was then used to create the material for this printed cover. The final design retains the charm of the lightly blurred and uneven nature of the original piece.
